Mandy Majors – Headshot 2

Mandy Majors

Mandy grew up in a divorced home in a small Indiana town. She survived many bad teenage decisions, landed at Indiana University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology. She’s been married to Matt for 24 years, and they’re raising two teens in Texas. Mandy is the author of two award-winning books, TALK and Keeping Kids Safe in a Digital World.  Prior to writing books and starting nextTalk, Mandy previously worked in the legal field for 15 years and volunteered in various positions with a focus on serving families (an emphasis on parent/child relationship) and leadership development. Mandy loves to hike and travel, hates coffee and is trying to break her Diet Coke addiction!

Kim Headshot 2020

Kimberly Elerick

Kim grew-up with a single-mom in various places around the country. She graduated from the University of Hawaii with a dual degree in Broadcast Journalism and Family Resources with the intent of using media as a way of bringing information and help to families. Kim and her husband, Charles, of 21 years are raising three tweens (ages 13, 11, and 9). She enjoys the challenges and rewards of homeschooling, loves to dance, hike, and is a self-proclaimed foodie. But more than anything, Kim loves to pray with parents and remind them that there is always hope when we bring things into the light.
